Welcome to Patricia Kelly’s website.

Patricia Kelly is an abstract painter working primarily in oil. She is a member of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society. She has studied with Herb Olds, Robert Robinson, Louise Cadillac, Pat Deadman, William Lawrence, William Vrscak and Charles Shelton.

She holds a B.S. and M.S. in Music Education from Duquesne University. She also holds a Dalcroze Eurhythmics certification from Carnegie Mellon University.  She taught music and academic classes in the Pittsburgh Public Schools for 40 years. She has also taught children’s art classes at the North Hills Art Center and the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts.

Patricia has received Juror’s awards for paintings in shows sponsored by the Pittsburgh Society of Artists, The Westmoreland Art Nationals, and Butler County Art Society. She had a solo show at an alternative art space called the Morrowfield Loft in April of 2014. Her work has been selected by the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh to show at the Andy Warhol Museum and at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art.

She was recently invited to have a show at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art between June 3 – July 13, 2015.
